Educational work in VNTU is aimed at harmonious, intellectual, cultural and world view development of personality of student with active public position in society, directed to forming of national consciousness, industriousness, good organization, discipline and responsibility.

The tasks of educational process are realized via university administration, scientific council, institutes, faculties, departments, academic groups, student self-government, and student union of the university.

The Institute of Educational Works is engaged in: complex and current planning and realization of educational work in the university; development of methodical materials for organization of educational process; organization of leisure of students in groups of amateur art and sport groups, and also in the hostels and dormitories of the university; organization of preparation and carrying out various cultural-social and health-improving activities; arrangement of conditions for development and realization of the leader making for students.

The institute is headed by the Vice Rector Anna Pyskliarova.

The Deputy Director of the InEW is Candidate of Science Volodymyr Bogachuk.

The coordinator of educational process is Council of Educational Works, which develops basic directions of educational work, coordinates work of university and faculty structures on the problems of education, assists in creation of new organizational forms and methods of work, settles questions of settlement and resettlement of students from the dormitories of the university.
